Bowling Green State University is committed to the prompt reporting of all claims. It is important that any university agency
experiencing a loss immediately notify Risk Management by telephone of an occurrence. Notification to other campus departments
may also be necessary. The institution purchases insurance for most significant identified exposures with varying levels of
retention. The risk management department is responsible for notification to insurers or insurer representatives following
a loss.
