The Inter-University Counsel Insurance Consortium (IUC-IC) was formed as an ad-hoc committee of the Inter-University Counsel
(IUC) in 1998 to coordinate the purchase of property and liability insurance for Ohio 's four year public universities and
two freestanding medical colleges. Participating in a pooled insurance arrangement allows the institutions to achieve together--through
collaboration and cooperation--what institutions are likely unable to achieve alone. At this time the IUC-IC member institutions
include:
- Bowling Green State University
- Central State University
- Cleveland State University
- Kent State University
- Medical College of Ohio (Property only)
- Miami University
- Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (Property only)
- The Ohio University
- The University of Akron
- The University of Cincinnati
- Shawnee State University
- The University of Toledo
- Wright State University
- Youngstown State University
