The Admissions Office initially determines Ohio Residency Status for Tuition Surcharge Purposes based on the limited information
contained on the application for admission to Bowling Green State University. Once that classification has been made, any
student who wants to be classified as a resident must apply through the Office of Registration and Records.
Application forms may be picked up in the Office of Registration and Records, Room 110 Administration Building.
Completed applications including all supporting documentation must be received in the Office of Registration and Records allowing
time for a final decision to be made prior to the end of the semester in question. Applications received after the last day
of classes for a semester cannot be processed. Students are encouraged to complete applications prior to the start of a semester.
