A student who has earned a four-year degree in higher education and who wishes to enroll in undergraduate courses only (0-499 level courses), without pursuing another degree, may enroll as a Guest Degree Holder. Such a student is not limited to the number of courses which may be taken at BGSU. Guest Degree Holders are not eligible for financial aid.

The only admission requirement for a Guest Degree Holder is confirmation of the student's higher degree. Acceptable degree confirmation can be an unofficial photocopy of the student's transcript or a diploma. Please mail or fax this documentation along with your application. Mailing address and fax number are on the top of the application. Students who received their degree from BGSU do not need to submit degree verification.

Guest Degree Holders who maintain continuous attendance at BGSU will automatically be sent registration materials for successive terms. Students not in continuous attendance must resubmit the Guest Degree Holder application in order to obtain registration materials for the designated term.

Individuals wishing to take course work for educator licensure (teaching, administrative, or pupil services) must also complete the Application to Take Educator Licensure Coursework—For Guest Students Only form.
