course requirements
Mathematics
Each student is required to complete five
to six credit hours in calculus with a grade
of "C" of better as part of the
BSBA admission requirements. A student may
select either MATH 1260 or 1310, or both 1340
and 1350. MATH 95, 98, 1200, 1210, 1220, 1280,
or 1300 may also be required, depending on
the student's math placement. Credit for MATH
90, 95, and 1210 does not count toward the
BSBA degree. Only three hours of MATH 1200
counts toward the BSBA degree.
Electives
Business or non-business courses may be used
as electives to complete the minimum
degree requirements of 122 credit hours. The
number of credit hours needed is determined
by the number of hours taken as University,
college, or specialization requirements. These
electives should be selected in consultation
with the student's advisor. Generally a student
may take courses in any department of the
University to meet this requirement. For a
list of courses that do not count toward the
BSBA degree, see the appropriate check sheet
of degree requirements or contact Undergraduate
Student Development.
