The Center for International Programs (CIP) supports academic units in efforts to recruit and retain international students and visiting scholars. Support for prospective students includes admission processing, visa preparation, SEVIS records, arrival coordination, and orientation. Support for existing international students includes tax preparation, social security application, on-campus employment, advising of available scholarships, and help in meeting the academic and life changes during their stay at BGSU. CIP staff, in conjunction with the World Student Association, provide social, cultural, and educational programs for international students, scholars, the campus, and the wider community.
