Philosophy
Human
dignity, health and safety are three of an individual's
most prized possessions and, as such, should be protected.
The professional programs offered in this college were
founded in response to the needs of individuals. The
education of students in this college embraces knowledge
from diverse sources, including a liberal education.
Students graduating from this college should be prepared
to examine their roles and modify practice in response
to new information. They should be able to act as catalysts
in initiating and implementing new patterns of practice
aimed at bettering the human condition. For these reasons
education is directed toward inspiring and developing
problem-solving and creative capabilities in students.
Additionally pre-professional and professional education
must be regarded as preparation for a lifetime of continued
learning which enhances the process of self-actualization
for the individual.
