+ Applied Statistics Minor

The applied statistics minor is available to all students except those majoring in statistics.

Minor (25 hours)

• MATH 131, 232 (134 and 135 may be substituted for 131)
• One of the following sets:
  • STAT 211, 212
  • MATH 441 and one from: STAT 200; MATH 115, 247, 442; PSYC 270; SOC 369
• STAT 402, 408
• One from: STAT 406, 412, 414, 416; MATH 447
  

If the college of the student's major does not allow the same course to be counted for both the major and the minor, the number of remaining hours for the minor must be at least 18. Substitute courses must be approved by the department.
