Bachelor of science
in technology programs are designed for the student interested in
the application of arts and sciences to the technologies of industry.
Career opportunities exist in a growing area of service. Emphasis
is placed on industrial control and supervision, technical processes
and personnel leadership with such employment classifications as:
construction supervision, production management, technical sales,
product design, quality assurance, technical service training, graphic
coordinator, cost and systems analysis, and customer service technician.
These classifications are used in all segments of business and industry
including the automotive, construction, pollution control, communications,
glass, plastics and metal industries. The Universitys geographic
location is such that excellent cooperation exists with companies
and government agencies which require well-prepared individuals
in technology.
