The Washington
Center Internship program offers internships for students of all
majors in Washington, D.C. A participating student works full time
in his or her chosen field in a placement chosen to match individual
interests and skills. While gaining valuable work experience in
his or her career area, the student receives 12-15 hours of BGSU
credit.
The program
includes placement, orientation, evaluation, counseling, small group
discussions, a lecture series, special events and support services.
Scholarships are offered and housing is available if desired.
Information
on the various opportunities is available in the Career Center's
Cooperative Education and Internship Program office. Interested
students with a minimum 2.75 GPA are urged to contact the coordinator
at least six months prior to the term in which they would like to
intern.
