of Music (B.M.)
The bachelor
of music degree provides undergraduate preparation for a professional
career and a background for graduate study. The curriculum for
each bachelor of music program stresses not only technical and
musical skills, but also a broad understanding of the social and
cultural environment in which the art of music is practiced. See
