Lorain
County Community College brings its National League for Nursing
accredited associate degree nursing program to the campus of BGSU
Firelands. This program offers the citizens of Erie, Huron, Ottawa
and Sandusky counties the opportunity to obtain registered nurse
status from a state-assisted college. All support courses should
be taken at BGSU Firelands and will transfer to Lorain County Community
College. The nursing courses are LCCC courses that are offered on
the Firelands campus. All students are enrolled as BGSU students
for support courses and as LCCC students for nursing courses. Clinical
work is done at area hospitals and agencies. The associate of applied
sciences in nursing degree is earned from Lorain County Community
College.
