Bachelor of Science in Advanced Technological Education
The
advanced technological education program provides students already
possessing an associate's degree and work experience with the opportunity
to continue their formal education. This program combines general
education requirements with a well-rounded curriculum that includes
a technical concentration unique to each student. Courses include
adult learning, technical writing, development of training programs,
and use of the internet. At the present time, classes are offered
via various distance learning modalities in a nontraditional timeframe,
often in six- or eight-week sessions.
Due
to the unusual nature of this degree program, admission is limited
to students who hold an associate's degree and have been working
in business, industry or education. Because of demand, enrollment
in this program is limited. This degree is awarded by the College
of Technology.
