( SMRT Division)
The Athletic Training/Clinic Management major will prepare students
to enter the athletic training profession. Athletic Training students
in this undergraduate program are educated in all aspects of the
professional practice of a certified athletic trainer (ATC). Through
a combination of extensive classroom and clinical experiences in
athletic training, this undergraduate program provides students
the necessary competencies to challenge the National Athletic Trainers'
Association Board of Certification Examination.
Due
to the competitive admission criteria of the athletic training/clinical
management program and the guidelines set by the NATA and The Commission
on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), students
must apply separately for admission into the BGSU Athletic Training/Clinic
