Social Philosophy and Policy Center

Established in 1981, the center is devoted to research in political philosophy and the examination of public policy issues (e.g., bioethics, economic regulation, education policy, taxation, welfare, scientific innovation) from a philosophical perspective. The center sponsors national conferences and numerous public lectures and colloquia, edits the journal Social Philosophy & Policy and other topical literature, and supports visiting scholars.
