Valita L. Barnes is originally from Michigan and now lives in Ohio with her family.  She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with Big 4 experience at Deloitte & Touche.  She has more than ten years experience in accounting and finance and has worked in a variety of industries, including automotive, manufacturing and retail.  Valita has a Masters degree from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater and a Bachelors degree in accounting from Central Michigan University. 

In addition to her work in accounting, she has taught a variety of business subjects at the secondary and post-secondary level.  Valita’s passion for education led to her being published in 2006 in the Business Education Forum.  Valita is an active professional with memberships in many organizations.  She has one son and they are active in their church and community.  She looks forward to working with you!
