Faculty, staff, and students will be transitioning to Canvas by December 2013.

During the transition period both Canvas and Blackboard will be available for use. However, after December 2013 Blackboard will no longer be accessible or supported at BGSU.  Faculty are strongly encouraged to begin creating course content in Canvas and transitioning to Canvas.

The Canvas implementation will involve the following:

• The creation of courses in Canvas – the Canvas course shells for Spring 2013 classes are currently available and workshops and online training are available to assist in creating course content. 
• The creation of new online courses in Canvas.
• The review of Blackboard communities for transition to either Canvas or OrgSyc.
