- Recruitment and retention - Develop strategies to increase retention, improve academic profile of incoming students, and strategically grow enrollment
- Research and economic development and graduate education - Strengthen and support graduate education and align research programs with economic development opportunities
- Faculty support and shared governance - Advance the collective bargaining process and work to improve faculty governance
- Strategic planning and quality process improvements - Improve strategic planning process to support successful reaccreditation, assessment and metrics and link the strategic planning process to resource allocation
- Development - Align upcoming comprehensive campaign with needs of academic affairs
