Appointment of Simon Morgan-Russell as Interim Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences

I am pleased to share that Simon Morgan-Russell has accepted the position of Interim Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences effective July 1, 2008. Dr. Morgan-Russell has a long history of service to the College and University, and I am excited that he will continue to contribute in this very important role over the next year.

Dr. Morgan-Russell began his career at Bowling Green State University in 1994 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of English. In 2003, he assumed the position of Chair of the Department of English, and in 2005, began his role as an Associate Dean to the College for Curriculum and Faculty Advancement.

Please extend your congratulations and support to Dr. Morgan-Russell as he assumes a very important role for the University community.
