Honorary Degree: Ned Baker
The Board approved awarding Mr. Ned E. Baker an honorary Doctor of Science in Public Health.

Center of Excellence: Sustainability and the Environment
The Board designated Sustainability and the Environment as a Center of Excellence for Bowling Green State University.
Proposal for the Department of Construction Management
The Board granted approval to the College of Technology to recognize the program in construction management as a separate department, to be known as the Department of Construction Management within the College of Technology.
Johnston’s At-Bat-Stats Consulting, LLC
The Board approved the transfer or license of Intellectual Property for Johnston’s At-Bat-Stats Consulting LLC.
Leave Bank Program
The Board approved the Leave Bank Policy as proposed.
Administrative Staff – Notice Provisions
The Board approved the policy for the non-renewal notification of an administrative staff member contract, as proposed.
Charter Amendment: Broadening Eligibility for Senate
The Board approved the proposed amendments to the Academic Charter on Membership – Article IV.A and Election of Officers – Article I.B.

Approval of Fiscal Year 2010 Budgets – Bowling Green and Firelands Campuses
The Board approved the fiscal year 2010 Educational and General Budgets, the General Fee and related Auxiliary budgets, the Miscellaneous Auxiliary budgets, the Residence Hall budget, the Residential Computing Connection budget, and the Dining Hall budget as described in the Budget Book for fiscal year 2010.
Approval of Fiscal Year 2010 Administrative Fee Revisions
The Board approved administrative fee revisions for the Bowling Green campus to be implemented effective FY 2010.
Approval of Fiscal Year 2010 Instructional and General Fee Revisions
The Board approved tuition and general fee schedules to be implemented effective FY 2010.
Approval of Amendment to Tax Exempt Lease Purchase Transaction of May 2, 2008
The Board authorized the amendment to the tax exempt lease purchase transaction of May 2, 2008.
Authorization to Renew Mutual Aid Agreements
The Board authorizes the Vice President for Finance and Administration to renew any existing mutual aid agreements for a mutually agreed upon period of time after proper consultation with, and upon the recommendation of, the University’s General Counsel.
Approval of Naming Opportunity within the Stroh Center – The Anderson Club
The Board authorizes the Vice President for Advancement to proceed with the naming of The Anderson Club within the Stroh Center.
Revised Joint Investment Governing Charter
The Board approved the Joint Investment Committee Governing Charter as amended and recommended for approval by the Joint Investment Committee on April 23, 2009.
Approval of Investment Advisor Selection and Appointment
The Board approved the appointment of Hammond Associates Institutional Fund Consultants, Inc. as recommended by the Joint Investment Committee.
Sponsored Grants and Contracts Awarded
The Board approved that grants and/or contracts in the amount of $68,183.65 for the month of March, $2,693,265.49 for the month of April, and $1,420,618.00 for the month of May 2009, be accepted and expenditures applicable thereto in that amount be authorized.
Approval of the Strategic Plan
The Board approved the plan for the fourth stage of the process; plan execution and monitoring.
