President's Report to the Community
Supplement to the State of the University Address
February 19, 1998

Dear Faculty, Staff and Students:

Over the past two and one half years, Bowling Green State University has set ambitious goals and instituted many new and creative programs that are designed to meet the challenges confronting higher education in the years ahead.

The enclosed report is a revised version of an annual report that the University prepares for the Ohio Board of Regents. The compilation and dissemination of this report provides us all with the opportunity to reflect on the progress we have made as we move forward with the implementation of our institutional goals.

I hope this summary provides you with an overview of the many and varied strategic initiatives that are currently underway at BGSU. The report is not intended to be all-inclusive but represents selected strategic initiatives which have been implemented across the University in order to meet our goals.
