At its special meeting on June 6, 2008, the Bowling Green State University Board of Trustees took action on the following items:

•  Approval of Issuance of an RFP for an Executive Search Firm
•  Appointment of an Interim President for Bowling Green State University
•  Appointment of a Search Committee

Approval of Issuance of an RFP for an Executive Search Firm
The Board approved the issuance of an RFP for an Executive Search firm to hire the next President for BGSU.

Appointment of an Interim President for Bowling Green State University
The Board approved the appointment of Dr. Carol A. Cartwright to be the Interim President of BGSU beginning July 21, 2008 and ending upon the hiring of a new President.

Appointment of a Search Committee
The Board approved the appointment of a search committee to hire the next President. The Presidential Search Committee consists of the following people:
