John E. Moore, Jr.

John Moore is an independent consultant and executive director of Rickenbacker-Woods Inc., in Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Moore has previously worked with Dayton Power and Light. Before that, he completed 26 years of distinguished service with the United States Air Force, retiring as a colonel. He is an advisor to the National Trust for Historic Preservation and is a member of the executive committee for the Board of Advisors. Mr. Moore was president of the Trotwood, Ohio Chamber of Commerce, Miami Valley Military Affairs Association and is the chair of Eastway Behavioral Health Care Corporation and the Heritage Ohio boards. He serves on various other boards in Dayton and is active with Leadership Ohio. A 1966 graduate of Bowling Green State University with a major in biology, Mr. Moore was the president of the Alumni Board of Directors in 2000 and is currently a member of the Alumni Board Past Presidents Council. Mr. Moore and his wife, Debra, reside in Bexley, Ohio.
