The Bowling Green State University Board of Trustees offers our sincere appreciation to Dr. Sidney Ribeau for his 13 years
of service to the University.
Dr. Ribeau has left a legacy of excellence during his tenure here at Bowling Green, and has created the "premier learning
institution in the state of Ohio" and one of the best in the nation. We thank Dr. Ribeau for his service to the University
and wish him well in his leadership at Howard University.
The board also has extreme confidence that, as the University moves forward during a time of transition in leadership, the
capable administrative management team in place will help lead us through this period. Combined with a distinguished faculty
and dedicated University employees, we will continue to offer our students the high-quality education and community atmosphere
they have come to expect and experience.
Bowling Green State University will now move forward, as we approach our 100th anniversary celebration, searching for a new
president who will begin leading us into the next century of educational excellence.
