At its December 16 meeting, the Bowling Green State University Board of Trustees took action on the following items:

Personnel Changes Since October 3, 2003 Meeting The Board approved the personnel changes since the October 3, 2003 meeting.
Minutes of the October 3, 2003 Meeting The Board approved the minutes of the October 3, 2003 meeting as written.
2004-2005 Auxiliary Improvement Projects The Board approved the allocation of funds for 2004-2005 Auxiliary Improvement Projects totaling $610,546.
Columbia Gas Easement The Board approved a request by Columbia Gas for an easement at the corner of Mercer and Poe Roads as a right of way to repair
equipment on BGSU land.
Permanent Improvement Project at Firelands The Board approved the proposed construction of the Parker Lake Terrace in the James H. McBride Arboretum.
Sponsored Grants and Contracts Awarded: September and October 2003 The Board accepted sponsored grants and/or contracts in the amount of $3,882,693.00 for the month of September 2003 and $2,579,568.00
for the month of October 2003.
Sale of Real Estate in Bowling Green State University Research Park The Board approved the sale of three acres of property in the Bowling Green State University Research Park to Wood County
Educational Services.
Employment Contract for Sidney A. Ribeau The Board approved the extension of the employment contract for Sidney A. Ribeau as President of Bowling Green State University
for an additional two years to July 1, 2008 including provision for the earning of annual incentive compensation payable upon
full completion of Dr. Ribeau’s contract after June 30, 2008, and a 3% increase to his current base salary.
