    Appointment of Christopher S. Dunn as Associate Dean of the College of Health and Human Services and as a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Human Services
    The Board approved the appointment of Christopher S. Dunn as Associate Dean of the College of Health and Human Services and as a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Human Services.

    Proposed Emeritus Recommendations
    The Board approved the appointment to emeritus status of the following faculty members:

    Appointment of Robert O. Edmister as Dean of the College of Business Administration and as a tenured Professor in the Department of Finance
    The Board approved the appointment of Robert O. Edmister as Dean of the College of Business Administration and as a tenured Professor in the Department of Finance.

    Proposed Ohio Eminent Scholar in the Center for Photochemical Sciences
    The Board approved the move of the Eminent Scholar position from the Department of Philosophy to the Department of Chemistry and the Center for Photochemical Sciences effective July 1, 2003.

    Proposed 2003-04 Miscellaneous Auxiliary Budgets
    The Board approved the 2003-2004 Miscellaneous Auxiliary Budgets totaling $16,390,401.

    Proposed 2003-04 Residence Hall, Residence Hall Technology and Dining Hall Budgets
    The Board approved the 2003-04 Residence Hall, Residence Hall Technology and Dining Hall Budgets in the amount of $49,684,471.

    Proposed 2003-04 Educational Budgets – Main Campus and Firelands College
    The Board approved the 2003-04 Educational Budget for the Main Campus in the amount of $220,609,572 and the 2003-04 Educational Budget for Firelands College in the amount of $9,322,202.

    Proposed 2003-04 General Fee and Related Auxiliary Budgets
    The Board approved the 2003-04 General Fee and Related Auxiliary Budgets amounting to $29,059,145.

Issuance of 2003-2004 Contracts
The Board approved salary increment pools for faculty, administrative and classified staff of 2%, and that these pools be distributed to continuing faculty and administrative and classified staff (except for members of collective bargaining units) in accord with Board policy. Also approved was an additional pool of $242,000 for market adjustments for faculty and administrative staff and reclassifications for classified staff.

Proposed Naming of North Gymnasium in the Gertrude M. Eppler Complex
The Board approved the recommendation that the North Gymnasium in the Gertrude M. Eppler Complex be named the Dorothy M. Luedtke Gymnasium.

Grant of Limited Authority to Purchase Property
The Board granted limited authority for the University, by and through its President, to acquire any parcels of real property within the Target Area through June 30, 2005.


Auxiliary Improvement Project

The Board approved the Out-of-Cycle Auxiliary Improvement Project totaling $107,000 for a computerized menu management system for Dining Services.

Wood County Airport Authority Lease Extension
The Board approved the extension of the lease between Bowling Green State University and the Wood County Airport Authority,
