sought for NSF program
- Undergraduate

in science have a valuable opportunity this summer to
conduct original research while working alongside distinguished
Bowling Green State University scientists. They will
also receive a $3,171 stipend for the 10-week summer
program, plus an efficiency apartment at no cost. The
session runs from May 21 to July 27.

explores impact of Alzheimers disease on caregivers

For caregivers of people with Alzheimers disease,
one of the most mysterious and frustrating aspects of
the illness is that, in the midst of their confusion
and isolation, those afflicted will sometimes "wake
up" and have periods of great lucidity during which
they seem to return to their former selves. During these
times, they may converse with great wit and humor or
have serious discussions and generally behave as if
they have no illness, only to lapse back into their
dementia as suddenly as they awakened.

for its cold-beverage suppliers. The University has
