gives $3 million to Student Union project
- A
Plymouth, Michigan, couple has given $3 million to Bowling
Green State University. BGSU alumni Robert M. and Ellen
(Bowen) Thompson presented the gift to the University
to expand and renovate the Student Union.

- The
success of a pilot project that prepares teachers to
use technology has enabled Bowling Green State University
to obtain $1.5 million in federal funding to expand
the effort.

the second time in less than three weeks, Bowling Green
State University has received a major federal grant
to undertake a project to in support of teacher preparation
in "high-need" public schools.
