Eighth Annual BGSU Research Conference

The BGSU all-campus research conference showcases the scholarly and creative endeavors of its faculty, graduate students, and undergraduate students, from all disciplines and all BGSU colleges.

Deadline:
Friday , October 23, 2009, 5 pm (Electronic Submission REQUIRED)

Criteria For Submissions:
Submitted work should be representative of your current line of research, scholarly activities, or artistic endeavors.
  • The work may have been presented previously at a local, state, regional, national, or international meeting, juried show, or other peer-reviewed competition.
  • The work should have been refereed previously; presentation of preliminary work is discouraged.
  • The work may have single or multiple authorship.
  • Student research is acceptable if it is a collaborative effort with a faculty member.
  • Handwritten posters are not acceptable.
Posters are the standard presentation format for the conference. However, due to the diversity of disciplines on our campus, the guidelines for the display format are quite flexible. In addition, the conference planning committee is prepared to respond to advance requests for technical assistance (i.e., reading a paper, internet connections, power supplies, extra tables, etc.). Please use the text-box under the section below entitled "Presentation Type" to tell us the best methods for showcasing your work to the rest of the university community, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
We reserve the right to limit the number of submissions depending on space limitations.
