Nontraditional & Transfer Student Services

Financial Aid & Scholarships

The Office of Student Financial Aid provides comprehensive information and services for current and future BGSU students. Grants, loans, scholarships and employment are available options for students. To visit our Student Financial Aid website click here.

Scholarships
BGSU works hard to provide students with a variety of financial resources and payment options to meet their educational costs. The Office of Student Financial Aid provides a BGSU searchable scholarship guide to assist prospective and current students in exploring all available scholarship opportunities at BGSU. Click here to find out more.

Search Tip: Conduct separate searches of the guide using keywords, one at a time, to find the largest number of scholarships available to you. Examples of good keywords to try individually are "transfer," "nontraditional," "non-traditional," "adult learners" and "part time."

The Student Financial Aid Office has additional resources and links to other outside scholarship sources, including multiple scholarship search engines.

Other scholarships for nontraditional students are coordinated by Continuing & Extended Education.

Scholarships for Transfer Students
The Office of Admissions currently provides two financial incentives for eligible transfer students. No additional application is required to be considered for these scholarships. Non-Ohio residents may also qualify for the BG Success Scholarship which provides one-half off the nonresident fee. For more information about these scholarships, click here
