Nontraditional & Transfer Student Services
NTSS Staff are available to assist you prior to and during the admissions process as well as provide additional resources if you are admitted and chose to attend BGSU. If you are unsure which of BGSU’s many Academic Programs best fits your interests and career goals, NTSS advisors are on hand to work with you.
Once you are ready to apply to BGSU, the process is simple. To apply, visit Undergraduate Application. Select the application link that applies to your situation. If you graduated from high school more than three years ago, you will not need to submit ACT or SAT test scores.
If you have previously attended any other college or university you will need to request official transcripts be sent to:
Bowling Green State University
An official transfer evaluation will then be included with the admission decision.
If you previously attended BGSU and completed one or more semesters, visit Readmission of Former Students for instructions.
If you plan to take courses at BGSU as a non-degree seeking student, you are considered a Guest Student. This is coordinated through the Office of Registration and Records. Visit the Guest Student Enrollment page for further instructions. This is the process to follow if you are attending another institution and wish to take a class at BGSU in the summer (or other term) and transfer that credit back to your home institution.
