Come Hear Why Research is so Important

Here you will get a chance to hear of the research experiences from a student panel that will consist of a sophomore, junior, and senior. They will be expressing why research is so important during your undergraduate career. Sponsored by the Center for Undergraduate Research and Scholarship.
Step Out of the Classroom and Explore the World
4 p.m., Bowen-Thompson Student Union, Mylander Room (Room 207)
Students who attend this event will have the opportunity to meet a panel of student representatives for education abroad. They will have the opportunity to hear stories, ask questions, and gain insight on how to start exploring education abroad options. Sponsored by the Center for International Programs.
Partners in Excellence Program
4 – 5:30 p.m., Bowen-Thompson Student Union, Multipurpose Room (Room 228)
The Partners in Excellence (PIE) program is open to all first year Historically Underrepresented Scholars, multicultural students, and first year undergraduate international students. Historically Underrepresented scholars are required to attend. If you have class or work that conflicts with the program time, please call the Office of Multicultural Affairs at 419-372-2642. Comedic Magician Michael Kent

Michael Kent combines his sarcastic and irreverent sense of humor with mindblowing magic in a way that seems to let the audience “in on the joke.” All over the country, Michael’s audiences are experiencing what it’s like when a stand-up comic performs magic.
