These sessions are meant to help with quick, simple advising questions – make sure you schedule an appointment with your college advisor if you have any major questions or concerns! Fraternity Cookout
4 – 9 p.m., Harshman Basketball Courts
Join the men of the Interfraternity Council for a cookout to kick off IFC Formal Fraternity Recruitment and have the opportunity to meet all 17 fraternities. Sponsored by the Interfraternity Council.

Downtown BG Tradition Tour
6 p.m., Meet at The Oaks
Don’t limit yourself to campus. One-of-a-kind restaurants, shops, and activities are just a short walk away. You can’t be a true Falcon without experiencing these downtown BG traditions. Sponsored by yourFellowFalcon.

Friday Night Lights 
6:30 p.m., Meet outside the Bowen-Thompson Student Union Theater (Room 206)
Help BGSU save energy by shutting off lights and enjoy the social networking/service project phenomenon! Don’t miss it! Sponsored by the Office of Campus Sustainability.

h2o All Campus Picnic and Cornhole Tournament 
7 p.m., University Hall Lawn
Free pizza and cornhole tournament with prizes! This is a chance to come hang out, meet new people, and celebrate completing your first week of classes. Sponsored by h2o.

Dueling Pianos
9 p.m., Bowen-Thompson Student Union, Lenhart Grand Ballroom
Dueling Pianos is a one-of-a-kind entertainment experience that will have you singing, cheering, dancing, and laughing. It is an all request-driven, live musical show. Sponsored by the Office of New Student Orientation and First Year Programs.

Public Skate
9 – 11 p.m., Ice Arena
With valid BGSU ID, come skate for free at the Ice Arena. Beginner through advanced skaters are encouraged to give skating a try during Public Skate. Rental skates are available to those in need. Sponsored by Recreation and Wellness.

The RHOyal Rumble Icebreaker
10 p.m. – 2 a.m., Perry Field House
Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and Limelightz Entertainment are proud to present the annual fall icebreaker where students can enjoy dancing to the newest music. Pre-sale tickets will be available Friday, August 24, 3-5 p.m. in Bowen-Thompson Student Union and will cost $5. Tickets can also be purchased at the door starting at $10, with prices increasing as the night goes on. Student ID required for admission.

Broomball
11 p.m. – 12 a.m., Ice Arena
With valid BGSU ID, come play broomball for free at the Ice Arena. Bring your friends and wear sneakers with good tread. Helmets, balls and sticks will be provided. Sponsored by Recreation and Wellness.
