Campus Storm Update (July 8, 2003)
About 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, Bowling Green State University experienced severe weather conditions. No injuries were reported. While there was no major structural damage on campus, some buildings experienced roof and façade damage. Many trees were uprooted and limbs downed. Buildings impacted the most were: the College of Technology Annex, Kobacker Hall, Student Health Services and Perry Field House.
- BGSU classes will continue as scheduled.
- Orientation & Registration will continue as scheduled.
- Students meeting for classes in the College of Technology Annex should check in at 101 Technology Building to get class relocation.
- Official cost estimate on the storm damage will not be available until next week.
- Please be advised repair crews will be on campus working on clean-up efforts. Your cooperation should any street/walkway closures be required will be appreciated.
