Please be assured that during this morning’s campus incident in which a shot was reported fired, no one was injured. The investigation by police is ongoing.

Regarding the situation on campus earlier this morning, BGSU Police report that one shot was fired, which was heard by an officer on patrol, who immediately responded. The officer apprehended an individual and secured the situation.

In addition to BGSU police, city police and Ohio State Highway Patrol are on campus as part of a standard mutual aid response and to provide a sense of security.
