BGSU site of forum on voting system review
BOWLING GREEN, O.—Bowling Green State University will be the site Tuesday (Feb. 19) of a forum on the recent comprehensive review of Ohio's voting systems. The event will be held from 10-11:30 a.m. in 207 Bowen-Thompson Student Union.
Designed to solicit further public feedback, the forum is one of four planned this week on college campuses around the state to discuss the findings of Project EVEREST (Evaluation and Validation of Election Related Equipment, Standards and Testing), Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner announced Feb. 14. The other forums will be held at Case Western Reserve, Ohio and Miami universities.
Leading the forums will be Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Nance and Dr. Patrick D. McDaniel, an associate professor of computer science and engineering at Pennsylvania State University. McDaniel served as the principal investigator for Project EVEREST.
