BOWLING GREEN, O.—The American Legion's 2007 Buckeye Boys State program is now underway at Bowling Green State University.
For the 30th consecutive summer, students taking part learn about city, county and state government by creating a mock government.
This year's program started Saturday (June 9) and continues through June 17.
Among officials scheduled to visit Boys State are Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland and Congressional Medal of Honor winner Major Gen.
Patrick Brady, a Vietnam War veteran. Scores of other city, county and state officials as well as American Legion staff and
volunteers also will take part.
