BOWLING GREEN, O.—Grant-writing workshops will be held in the coming weeks for those wishing to apply for Bowling Green State University's Partnerships for Community Action or Center for Innovative and Transformative Education support grants.
Workshops will offer participants the information required to prepare an application for the 2007 PCA/CITE grants, a competitive program offering up to $5,000 for projects that address community needs and are built on partnerships between BGSU and the community. PCA/CITE programs are based on reciprocity, mutual benefit and equal participation in community life in northwest Ohio.
All the workshops will take place from noon-1 p.m. at the following locations:
Thursday, Sept. 21 : Toledo United Way Center, Anderson A, 1 Stranahan Square, #114, Toledo.
Tuesday, Sept. 26: American Red Cross, Conference Room, 1245 Napoleon Road, Fremont.
Thursday, Sept. 28 : BGSU Firelands, Cedar Point Center, One University Drive, Huron.
Tuesday, Oct. 3: Kaubisch Memorial Public Library, McClean Conference Room, 205 Perry St., Fostoria.
Thursday, Oct. 5: Defiance Regional Medical Center, Maumee Room, 1200 Ralston Ave., Defiance.
Tuesday, Oct. 10: Alumni Memorial Union, Rosewood Room in Deming Hall, University of Findlay.
There will be a review workshop from noon to 4 p.m. Nov. 16 in 308 Bowen-Thompson Student Union at BGSU.
All sessions are free, and no registration is required. Participants are welcome to bring their lunches.
