Summer Kindermusik camps planned
BOWLING GREEN, O.—The Creative Arts Program at Bowling Green State University's College of Musical Arts will host summer Kindermusik
camps with two weeklong sessions of classes July 17-21 and Aug. 7-11.
Kindermusik classes, taught by licensed instructor Samantha Mudge, are designed to enhance children's learning, growth and
development through music.
Using music and movement, the instructor leads parents and children through joyful activities. Parents learn more about their
child's individual developmental process, and the shared learning experience creates a unique bond as the child associates
learning with fun, musical play.
Classes offered the first week (July 17-21) include “Our Time: Creatures at the Ocean,” for children 18 months to 3 years of age, and “Imagine That: Confetti Days,” for children ages 3-5.
In the second weeklong session (Aug. 7-11), classes include: “Village: Peek-a-boo! I Love You!” for those 18 months old and
younger; “Our Time: Creatures in My Backyard” for children ages 18 months to 3 years; “Imagine That: On the Road” for 3- to 5-year-olds, and “Young Child: Around the World” for 4- to 7-year-olds.
All classes will be held in the Choral Rehearsal Hall (Room 1040) of the Moore Musical Arts Center. The registration deadline
for the first camp is July 3, and for the second camp, July 24.
The classes require no prior musical training or involvement by the caregiver. The cost for classes varies.
