December 23, 2005 - Bowling Green State University biologist Dr. Scott Rogers, along with a Turkish colleague, has made a foray into the tomb
of the legendary King Midas, seeking to determine if the huge timbers and logs lining the ancient burial site are Lebanon
cedar, or perhaps a variety that has vanished altogether.
‘The People' to mark northwest BGSU campus entryway
December 20, 2005 - By next December, drivers passing through the intersection of North College Drive and Poe Road will see a quite different
sight than the one that greets them today. In place of what is now a nondescript area, there will be a public artwork that
identifies the site as part of the Great Black Swamp, of the city of Bowling Green and as the northwest entryway to Bowling
Green State University.

December 16, 2005 - A community-wide send-off celebration will be held at the Bowling Green State University Ice Arena on Dec. 21 to honor
figure skater and Olympic hopeful Alissa Czisny. <br>A native of Bowling Green and a sophomore at BGSU, Czisny is competing
at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships Jan. 12-14 in St. Louis, Mo., in hopes of qualifying for the 2006 U.S. Olympic team.
52 BGSU students lend a hand to Mobile, Ala.
December 14, 2005 - Fifty-two Bowling Green State University students, along with four staff members, will put the spirit of the season into
action in Mobile, Ala. Rather than heading home after final exams, the BGSU students will board a bus to give several days
of their holiday break to help Mobile residents still recovering from Hurricane Katrina.

December 11, 2005 - Residents were safely evacuated from a Bowling Green apartment building around 5:30 Sunday (Dec. 11) morning when fire
was detected in the building's hallways.

Pavel Anzenbacher named Sloan Research Fellow
November 15, 2005 - Dr. Pavel Anzenbacher, an assistant professor of photochemical sciences at Bowling Green State University, has received

BGSU Forensics Team sweeps top competition
November 14, 2005 - Bowling Green State University’s Forensics Team had cause for celebration last week, having swept the prestigious, 37th
annual Mad Hatter Tournament at Bloomsburg (Pa.) University Nov. 5-6. The Mad Hatter is considered one of the top competitions
