Master Teacher to give commencement address

Bonnie Fink, Bowling Green State University's 1998 Master Teacher, will be the speaker for fall commencement exercises on Dec. 18 at the University.

Approximately 1,000 students will be awarded degrees during the ceremonies, which will begin at 10 a.m. that Saturday at Anderson Arena in Memorial Hall.

Fink, who holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from BGSU, is undergraduate coordinator and academic adviser for scientific and technical communication in the Department of English. She has taught at Bowling Green since 1987 and in recognition of her teaching excellence was named the 17th recipient of the University’s Master Teacher Award in 1998 by the Undergraduate Alumni Association.
