BGSU and Media 100 offer first-of-its-kind trainer certification
The National Institute for the Study of Digital Media and Media 100, Inc., have announced an innovative joint venture: the Media 100 Trainer Certification Workshops at Bowling Green State University.
The workshops debut Nov. 1517. Additional workshops are scheduled for next March, May and beyond.
The curriculum is the first of its kind, formalizing the content and presentation of the leading on-line digital video editing and effects system, the Media 100. Graduates of the intensive course will be certified to teach at certified training facilities or train users on-site.
The BGSU Media 100 Trainer Certification Workshops were created to fill the increasing demand for more training as the Media 100 technology grows more widespread. Media 100 has been making news recently since its technology was used to edit the attention-grabbing movie, "The Blair Witch Project." The National Institute for the Study of Digital Media at Bowling Green is the companyıs educational partner.
The Media 100 Trainer Certification Workshops offer a unique mix of technical and teaching tools. Participants will fine-tune their Media 100 skills with additional in-depth, hands-on experience and learn Media 100 tips and tricks to pass along to others. They will learn how to demonstrate procedures so students understand them, acquire effective teaching styles and learn the art of facilitation.
