OpenExternal Grant—Families and Financial Instability
Application Deadline: February 1, 2009. The National Center for Marriage Research (NCMR) seeks to fund up to four proposals ($20,000 per award) to support innovative research that contributes to theoretical, conceptual, methodological, or empirical developments about family responses to financial strain.

Open Visiting Scholars
Application Deadlines: To visit during spring 2009, the application deadline is November 1, 2008. To visit during the summer of 2009, the deadline is March 1, 2009. To visit sometime during fall 2009 or the 2009-2010 academic year, the application deadline is June 1, 2009. If an opportunity emerges, please contact us. We are quite flexible and may be able to accommodate other types of requests.

OpenPostdoctoral Fellowship
Application Deadline: February 20, 2009. Designed to provide an opportunity for an outstanding young scholar to perform research and receive training in residence, the NCMR seeks one postdoctoral fellow for a one year appointment.

OpenGraduate Research Assistantships, 2009-2010
Application Deadline: March 20, 2009. The national Center for Marriage Research seeks three graduate research assistants for half-time appointments (i.e., 20 hours per week) to pursue research on marriage and family.

OpenInternal Grants Competition, 2009
Application Deadline: April 6, 2009. The National Center for Marriage Research seeks to fund two or three proposals ($5,000-10,000 per award) to support innovative research projects that are consistent with the Center’s research themes.
