The National Center for Marriage Research (NCMR) seeks three graduate research assistants for half-time appointments (i.e., 20 hours per week) during the 2009-2010 academic year. The assistantship is designed to provide an opportunity for outstanding graduate students to pursue research on marriage and family.
The Assistantship
Graduate research assistants will identify a senior BGSU faculty member as a mentor and pursue guided research on a topic of mutual interest that is consistent with the NCMR research themes. Assistants will participate in all activities sponsored by the NCMR, as well as a monthly meeting of the assistants to discuss their progress. Assistants will receive a stipend of $17,000 and a tuition waiver for the academic year. Assistants must register for full-time credit hours and remain students in good standing. They will have access to the NCMR’s services, including computing and data support.
Application deadline is March 20, 2009.
