David Lee Weis, 52, died Sept. 5 in Toledo. A professor of family and consumer sciences, he had been on the BGSU faculty since 1986.

Mildred Lintner, 61, former director of Bowling Green State University Theatre, died Sept. 5 in South Lyon, Mich. Lintner taught at the University from 1969-86, first in speech communication and later in computer science. She was also the first full-time professional costume designer for the theatre department.
