'Oklahoma!’ to open Huron
Playhouse’s 56th season
The Huron Playhouse will open its 56th season on June
29 with “Oklahoma!,” the Department of Theatre
and Film has announced.
Ohio’s oldest continuously operating summer theatre,
the playhouse’s shows will be staged Tuesday through
Saturday evenings weekly through July 31.
“Oklahoma!” will run through July 3, followed
by Noel Coward’s “Hay Fever” from
July 6-10; “The Fantasticks” from July 13-17;
Neil Simon’s “The Odd Couple” from
July 20-24, and, closing the season, Cole Porter’s
“Anything Goes” from July 27-31.
Curtain time for all productions is 8 p.m. at the McCormick
School auditorium on Ohio Street in Huron.
