BGSU psychologists engaged in study of how age affects people’s timing

BGSU psychologists Kevin Pang and J. Devin McAuley will study the effects of aging on timing in both humans and animals with a new $1 million grant from the National Institute on Aging, one of the National Institutes of Health. A unique aspect of the five-year grant is that it is one of the few studies to attempt to match the two subjects. Read full story

 

The President’s Human Relations Commission recently presented the Miguel Ornelas Awards to members of the campus community who have significantly enhanced positive human relations on campus during the previous year. Winning were the Master of Teaching English as a Second Language Program, Davin Heckman, a doctoral candidate in American culture studies, and Christine Pease-Hernandez, a doctoral student in the School of Communication Studies. ‘Links’ public art project connects art to viewers and surroundings

Public art must take into account its surroundings and audience in order to be successful. Students in the “Technology, Space and Public Art” class at the University have tackled this challenge and will display the products of their study this week when they mount the Links/Public Art—Bowling Green exhibit.
