University honors dedication
of its classified, administrative staff
BGSU honored 166 of its classified and administrative
staff who have served 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 years, at
an annual dinner and awards ceremony April 7.
Planned by the Staff Awards Committee and Human Resources,
the event also recognized those who have recently retired,
including Marilyn Dewyre and Betty Ward, who each worked
at Bowling Green for 35 years. Retiring after 30 years
were Beverly Cotterman, Anita Knauss, Janice Veitch
and Mark Miller. Susan Green retired with 25 years of
service, and Diane Petteys with 20.
A special gathering for employees who work at night
will be held May 10, from 10:30 p.m.-midnight in the
Lenhart Grand Ballroom of the Bowen-Thompson Student
Union.
And those employees who have been with the University
for five and 10 years will be guests at a breakfast
hosted by the Finance and Administration Committee from
7:30-9:30 a.m. May 11, also in the ballroom.
Three current employees—Patricia Collins, University
Libraries; Joy Kantner, development, and Diana Shamp,
human resources, are marking their 35-year anniversaries.
Another 20 employees have worked for 30 years. They
are:
