CSC award, scholarship nominations
due
Classified Staff Council is accepting nominations for the
following awards and scholarships:
• Outstanding Classified Staff Award.
• Team Award —For for two or more classified
staff members who work together on a daily basis (please
include all members of the team) Requires a completed nomination
form from any University employee, and three current recommendation
letters. Mail to: Dorothy Grassley, 120 McFall Center, or
Nancy Shrider, 110 Adm. Bldg.
• Scholarship Awards—Full-time/part-time, undergraduate/graduate
student. Must be at least a second-semester freshman with
a 2.5 GPA or better. -- Requires a completed nomination
form from any University employee, and 3 current recommendation
letters. Mail to: Karen Donaldson, 231 Administration Building,
or Kathy McBride, 332 Business Administration Building.
Nomination forms and specific criteria are available on
the Web at: www.bgsu.edu/organizations/csc/
or from committee chairs. Please forward nominations and
completed applications to appropriate chairs as listed above.
The absolute deadline for nominations to be received is
March 5. Only completed nominations will be accepted.
The classified staff awards ceremony will be held on April
3 from 9-11 a.m. in the Bowen- Thompson Student Union Lenhart
Grand Ballroom.
Nominate your top student employees
The Student Employment unit of the Career Center is accepting
nominations for awards that recognize the outstanding student
employees of the 2002-2003 academic year. Students will
be honored through four separate award categories:
· On-Campus
Student Employee of the Year
· On-Campus Student Employee Team of the Year
· Off-Campus Student Employee of the Year
· BGSU Coop or Intern of the Year
Nominations are
open to undergraduate students and will be accepted during
the weeks of Feb. 17-March 21. Nomination forms are available
at the Career Center, 360 Saddlemire Building or by contacting

All nominees will be invited to attend the Student Employee
Appreciation Reception on Thursday, April 10, in 101 Olscamp
Hall to recognize their contributions and for the presentation
of awards.
Get organized with Meetingmaker
Meetingmaker is a group-scheduling tool that makes it easy
to schedule meetings, plan activities, and coordinate a
calendar with other Meetingmaker users. ITS has secured
an appropriate number of licenses for faculty and staff
to use Meetingmaker on currently supported desktop systems.
Faculty and staff who would like to obtain Meetingmaker
may now request an account at: www.bgsu.edu/offices/its/meetingmaker/.
Information regarding Meetingmaker account policies and
documentation on how to use the program may also be obtained
at the Meetingmaker Web page listed above. Questions may
be directed to the Technology Support Center, 129 Hayes

Macintosh keyserver testing planned
The University's keyserver system will be tested from 3-4
p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21 in preparation for a keyserver migration
scheduled for March 2.
If you are a Macintosh user and experience any loss of keyserver
connectivity during this testing period, please contact
the Technology Support Center (TSC) at 2-0999 as soon as
possible to resolve this issue. We apologize for any inconvenience
this testing may cause and appreciate your cooperation and
assistance.
Reception planned for United Way
President Sidney Ribeau invites all United
Way contributors and volunteers to a reception in appreciation
of their support. Join him from 3:30-4:45 p.m. Wednesday,
Feb. 26, in 207 Bowen-Thompson Student Union. Please RSVP
