Dominga Mendieta, 80, died Nov. 18 in Defiance. She was retired from University Dining Services.

Dr. George Herman, 84, a professor emeritus of speech communication, died Nov. 21 in Las Cruces, N.M. He taught speech and hearing therapy at BGSU from 1958-81, and was at times assistant dean and vice provost.

Dr. W. Heinlen Hall, 96, a professor emeritus of chemistry, died Nov. 22 in Topton, Pa. The chair of his department from 1951-71, he retired in 1976 after 40 years at BGSU.

Pauline Gamby, 85, died Nov. 28 in Bowling Green. She worked in dining services for more than 20 years.
